Disgusted

I watch too much TV. I admit it. But mostly, I watch old shows on the tube. I love murder mysteries without the sex scenes. I like medical shows without quite so much graphic blood and guts. I guess I like my world sanitized.

I am also not stupid. When Rhett Butler carried Scarlett O'Hara up the stairs, I knew what happened next. I do not need to see them in bed!I do not think sex is a spectator sport! I certainly do not need to see people who are newly aquainted jumping into sex.

I also do not need to see ads for feminine hygiene products. Or incontinence products. Or jock itch commercials. Or lubrication products. Isn't there a reason they are called PERSONAL products??? And, for me, sex is as personal as it gets.

What is driving more and more people to turn off prime time TV?

Perhaps they too want the personal to be more personal?
